I mentioneed last week that the number line has a few uses. I’ve covered using the number line to describe the location of something, but we can also use the number line to determine how far apart two objects are.
We’ll start by looking at the a number line with two bunnies located on it. You may recognize them from the locator tidbit.

If we count the number of times the red line bounces between the tall-eared bunny and the flop-eared bunny, we see that the bunnies are 11 units apart.
So now, we’ve seen the number line’s uses to describe an object’s location and to tell how far apart two objects are. The last post in the number line series should be up next week (now that I have my art generation process under better control).
